Marie Kelly is a survivor who doesn’t know when to quit. Against all odds, she’s living a life she never dreamed she could have. It was enough… until a stubborn boxer makes her want more.

Irish charmer Kieran Doherty has been a fighter at Driscoll’s Gym for most of his life. He’s been content to let his best friend take the spotlight, now it’s his turn to make a name for himself in the world of heavy weight champions. Falling in love is the one thing he vowed never to do, but meeting Marie changed everything.

It’s easy to imagine a happy-ever-after when the sun is shining. But when the storm comes, and all hope seems lost, they both learn that if you want something badly enough, you have to be willing to fight for it.

USA Today bestselling author R.J. Prescott was born in Cardiff, South Wales, and studied law at the University of Bristol, England. Every Little Thing- Samantha Young Review

Yet again Samantha Young has exceeded all expectations, which is no mean feat considering how much I enjoyed book one in this series.
Firstly I need to mention the magic of the boardwalk town that is Hartwell, (even after only two books into the series) this place, is my favourite book setting ever. The way in which the town is described just effortlessly paints the picture of beauty and serenity. I almost hear the waves lapping against the shore as I read, it truly transports me to a different world.
Of course with any great setting you need great characters to bring it alive and the habitants of Hartwell do not disappoint. The bond between the cast of characters serve to remind us that it’s not blood that binds people it’s kindness and love. These characters some lifelong residents, some newbies all share a love of their town and the people in it. It’s not often I read a book and truly care for the side characters as much as the main protagonist but Young’s character development leaves me wanting more from every single character. Especially Jack, I’m in desperate need for his story.
Anyway back to this story, we met Bailey and Vaughn in the one real thing and knew of their distaste for each other which automatically made me crave their words as I adore enemies to lovers stories. Add to that the fact that Vaughn was a super hot, loaded businessman what more could a girl want? His and Bailey’s relationship wasn’t an easy one it was full of uncertainty and obstacles. It was one that I couldn’t help rooting for. The way Vaughn protected Bailey had me swooning throughout and their reluctance to get together had me shouting at the pages.
All in all although book one blew me away and is still my favourite of the two, every little thing was a cracker of a follow up. If you loved The One Real Thing you won’t be disappointed with Every Little Thing.
Oh and one last thing…Samantha, please hurry and write Jack’s story. I’m beyond intrigued by him.
