Blog Tour & Review ~ With The Band ~ Natasha Preston

Texas Knight is daughter of the word’s biggest rock star, Mark Knight.

Kitt Daniels is lead singer in the hottest up-and-coming band, Filthy Sound.

Mark has mentored Filthy Sound from the beginning, seeing their potential, and now he’s supporting them on their first worldwide tour.

She’s off-limits.

He can’t help himself

Review: To say I’ve been desperate to read this book is an understatement! Natasha had promised a hot, cocky rockstar and she didn’t disappoint.

Imagine having a 2 year crush on a guy and then having to spend the whole of the summer with him…on a tour bus! The struggle was real for Texas Knight-although I can think of worse ways to spend time than in close contact with the super fit Kitt Daniels. I loved the banter between the two of them, their run ins were funny, sassy and extremely hot, you just wait until you get to the cage scene.

Both Texas and Kitt are likeable characters. They’re relatable even though they are ridiculously rich and living a life most of us dream of. Their relationship is complicated but also sweet and a lot of fun, Tex is extremely witty and holds her own perfectly well which is refreshing to read especially as she’s constantly surrounded by men. I’m not gonna lie I totally wanted to throat punch her for 10% of the book and then I asked myself what my 19 year old self would have done in that situation? The answer was behaved a lot worse than her so I decided she was more than entitled to her wobble. I forgave her because for the most of the book she was kickass!

As well as the relationship between Kitt and Texas there’s that of the whole of Filthy Sound as well as Texas’ dad’s band. The side characters fitted in perfectly and added a whole new dimension to the book. Cooper was hilarious and so very wrong at times and then there’s Milo (who is mine by the way) he was a great mix of both Kitt and Cooper and I’m desperately hoping he gets his own book soon. Thanks to Natasha’s great writing and the depth of details we have of the characters I really felt as if I was on that tour bus with them.

A great start to what I’m sure is going to become one of my favourite rockstar series!
